art therapy
You don’t have to have a single creative bone in your body to benefit from art therapy directives. The use of art in our sessions can be included into any other modality, which is what makes it so great! Sometimes it can be difficult to find the words for really painful emotions or experiences. This is just one of many cases in which using an expressive medium (such as painting, sculpting, drawing or writing) can be just as helpful as traditional talk therapy. Also, trying new and scary things can help us grow as humans. You may want to find out more about art therapy by clicking here.

individual therapy
Taking a closer and slower look at what has shaped who you are can help in discovering where to begin to heal. In one-on-one therapy with me, I practice with the idea that you have innate strengths and resiliency that has gotten you this far. You also know yourself far better than anyone else, my role is to guide and support you as we create a plan for getting to where and who you want to be.

trauma therapy
Unfortunately, traumas can come in all shapes and sizes. While the specifics are important, they don’t define the impact that a trauma or complex traumas can have on you. PTSD symptoms can flair up at any time and may have left you experiencing the terrible event all over again without a plan for managing. It can truly be debilitating and can sabotage all the work you’ve done to move on.
I know it’s more than a headache to have to open yourself up to someone new just to be able to close a chapter that you want so desperately to be done. I get it and I want to help… on your timeline, at your pace. It will be worth it.
